Q: How do I send pictures of my items?

• A: In order to receive a faster quote prior to sending it in,  it is best for us to have photos. The photos need to be clear pictures of the front, back, the overall piece, and any hallmarks.  Most phones can take clear photos. However, in order to obtain the clearest pictures, you may want to consider the following:  use natural light, utilize the macro feature instead of the zoom feature, tap on the screen to focus on the picture, upload the image in an email and send to sell@apexjewelryshop.com.  The photos can be png, jpg, or gif.

Q: Is there other information that I should include in the email besides photos?

• A: Yes, please provide any information about your item if known such as the following: if there are any damage; the type and quality of any gemstones, date and type of currency (if applicable); name and type of pens; does the item operate (watch & other), measurements of the item, does the item have any signatures, stamps, or hallmarks; and any other information that would help in determining the value of the item. If you do not have any detailed information about your item, please include a brief description.

Q: Do you buy broken items?

• A: Yes, I buy broken gold and silver jewelry/items, broken watches (depends on brand), old currency, used sunglasses and eyeglasses  except for readers (depends on brands), and antique and vintage pens. I am not able to buy broken vintage costume jewelry.
